About The Recovery Space

The Recovery Space brings together ACT-informed approaches and yoga to support a more integrated approach to wellbeing — one that considers both our inner experience and our relationship with the body.

Wellbeing is not about eliminating stress or always feeling calm. Life brings uncertainty, pressure, difficult emotions and periods of change. The Recovery Space is about creating space to meet these experiences with greater awareness, flexibility and resilience, while staying connected to what matters to you.

Through ACT-informed conversations, yoga and embodied practices, The Recovery Space offers different ways to slow down, reconnect and explore what supports you — whether through reflection, movement, breath or rest.

About Me

I’m Bettina, a psychologist by training and certified yoga teacher and the person behind The Recovery Space.

My background in psychology and yoga has shaped the way I approach wellbeing, bringing together an understanding of our inner experiences with the body, breath, movement and rest.

My approach is ACT-informed, integrative and collaborative. I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles alongside yoga and embodied practices, adapting the sessions to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

My intention is to create a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and explore meaningful ways forward — with greater awareness, flexibility and self-compassion.
